Dress Defination
A-Line - A dress or skirt silhouette that is narrower at the top, flaring gently wider toward the bottom thereby resembling the letter A. Works well on most figure types; good for disguising bottom-heavy figures.
Asymmetrical - An asymmetrical waistline crosses at an angle either above or below the natural waistline. One side of the dress dips more than the other.
Back drape - A length of material attached either at the shoulder or the waist that flows over the back to floor length. In some cases it is removable.
Ballgown (Full Skirt) - A ballgown is a type of long dress that is fitted at the bodice, with a very full skirt. This is the most formal dress silhouette. The ballgown looks best on average height to taller women, as the full skirt visually cuts the body in half. However, the ballgown is a very forgiving style, hiding everything from tummies to full hips and legs.
Bolero Jacket - A loose, waist-length jacket open at the front.
Box-pleated - Two folds of fabric brought together to form a pleat.
Brush Train - The shortest train that simply brushes the floor.
Cap Sleeve - A small, short sleeve which sits on the shoulder, either forming a stiff cap or falling on to the arm to provide minimal coverage.
Cathedral Train - Also known as a monarch train; a cascading train extending six to eight feet behind the gown, for the most formal weddings. It extends about 7.5 feet from the waistline.
Chapel Train - This train flows from three to four feet behind the gown. It extends about 4 feet from the waistline.
Court Train - A train which extends about 3 feet from the waistline.
Draped Bodice - An extra piece of material is draped over the bust-line.
Drop-Waist - A good waistline to help add height, this straight waistline falls 3 to 5 inches below the Natural Waist.
Empire - A type of dress or top where the waist line is raised above the natural waistline, sometimes as high as right below the bust. Looks best on slender-on-top or petite figures. The empire dress creates the illusion of length and camouflages a bottom-heavy figure or thick waist.
Illusion Bodice - A bodice made of sheer material giving the illusion of no bodice.
Illusion Sleeve - A sleeve made of sheer material giving the illusion of no sleeve.
Mermaid - The mermaid dress is close fitting through the bodice, down through the hips and to about mid or lower calf where the skirt flares out. As sexy as this is, it's not an easy dress to wear unless you have an athletic or slim build because this dress actually adds curves.
Peek-a-boo - Any part of the garment which has been cut out to reveal skin.
Petticoat - An underskirt usually a little shorter than outer clothing and often made with a ruffled, pleated, or lace edge.
Royal Train - The longest train which extends about 9 feet from the waistline.
Sheath/Slim Skirt - A close fitting skirt.
Shrug - A woman's small, waist-length or shorter jacket.
Sweetheart Neckline - A graceful, open yoke, shaped like the top half of a heart.
Sweep Train - A short train, slightly longer than a brush train, which sweeps the floor.
Tea-Length - A gown which is hemmed at the shin, sits just below the knee
Hanbok Dress Defination

Gat(Men's hat)
Durumagi The durumagi is a traditional overcoat worn on special occasions over the traditional jacket and pants.
Baji Baji refers to the lower part of the men's hanbok. Compared to western style pants, it does not fit tightly. The roomy nature of the cloth is due to a design aimed at making the cloth ideal for sitting on the floor.
Kkotsin The kkotsin refers to silk shoes on which flower patterns are embroidered. They play an important role in completing the graceful line of the lower rim of the chima.
